A poster proposed by Ernest Rugenstein, adjunct faculty in the Department of History, Philosophy and Social Sciences, will be included in the program at the American Historical Association‘s upcoming annual meeting.
“On behalf of the American Historical Association’s Program Committee, we are pleased to inform you that the poster you proposed, Akwesasne, a Nation Divided by More Than the St. Lawrence River, has been accepted for inclusion in the program of the January 4-7, 2018 Annual Meeting in Washington, DC,” reads a letter Rugenstein received from the AHA. “On behalf of the Program Committee, we congratulate you and look forward to a wonderful conference in January 2018.” (Rugenstein’s final design will be published in a future edition of the Campus Chronicle.)
The letter was signed by Antoinette Burton of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, chair of the 2018 AHA Program Committee, and Rick Halpern of the University of Toronto, committee co-chair.
